When acquired, the property was a social club for the local village, adjoining house and barns to the rear. It was developed to provide a pub of the highest quality as a centre piece for the village. The pub provides 150+ internal covers and 200+ external covers, fronting on to the village green. Development constraints included;

  • Development in the green belt.
  • Conservation area.
  • Ecology including bats roosting in the barns.

Introduced and acquired the site on behalf of my client on a JV basis. The Grade II* listed, landmark building will house a 5 star, 92 bed hotel featuring spa, pool and high end restaurant. Final GDV in the region of c.£20m.

  • Tight city centre site.
